We strive to be a preferred supplier to our customers through the reliable supply of the best microalgae products available on the market. Therefore, quality assurance and quality controls are integrated at all steps of our production value chain, from strain selection, media optimization and cultivation processes all the way to harvesting, packaging and shipping of the products. The efficiency of our management system is subject to regular external audits and our microalgae production complies with Danish and EU legislation for feed production under control of the Danish Veterinary & Food Administration.

We know that modern fish farming has the highest requirements when it comes to reducing environmental impact. We are proud to say that sustainability is an integrated part of our daily operations given microalgae is one of the most sustainable crops that can be produced for the aquaculture feed industry.

Through the photosynthesis processes in our bioreactors we are able to efficiently cultivate our single-cell microalgae with a negative CO2 footprint. Additionally, our heterotrophic fermentation processes are able to minimize emissions to as low as <1kg of CO2 per kg biomass cultivated, making our microalgae an environmentally friendly feed.

The production of plant-based nutrients using photo-bioreactors and fermenters can provide versatile and sustainable feed-ingredient alternatives to traditionally produced nutrients. Our single-celled microalgae is a sustainable and bio-secured ingredient that is suitable to replace or complement traditional agricultural raw materials in aquafeed, which are often characterized by a high environmental footprint, significant water consumption, vast land usage and compete with human food production.
